The Best Florida Health Training College

Florida Career College (FCC) are adding a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program to its Brandon campus."Since the baby boomer age band is aging, sports ailments and medical issues faced by the common people that require physical therapy, there are then tremendous career possibilities in this area," said Dr. Kory Thomas, DPT, program director Program Director of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at FCC Brandon. "This can be said to be a magnificent addition to our program and degree offerings and promotes Florida Career College's purpose to prepare college students for professions that are in demand so they jump speedily from the classroom into the workforce.""Physical Therapist Assistants assist persons of all ages afflicted with health-related troubles that impede their quality of life," said Thomas.  "I am extremely thrilled to start this latest program at the Brandon campus."  Florida Career College School of Nursing is adding an innovative new intermediary syllabus for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who want to become Registered Nurses (RNs). "This is a fantastic add-on to our School of Nursing curricula," stated FCC Boynton Beach Executive Director Michael Schwam. "Our Associate's Degree Registered Nurse course started in August and is filled to capacity.  Now these courses are extremely vital to us as our aim at Florida Career College is to coach pupils to change promptly from the classroom into jobs that are mostly in need."  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services supposes that the national shortage of RNs is projected to reach twenty pct by 2015. The Florida Center for Nursing guesses that the existing state shortage of RNs may well rise to 52,000 by 2020, with South Florida as the geographic section with the top need."By means of rising chances and job opportunities for nurses in South Florida, we present the teaching and practical instruction that our pupils could want to achieve something," stated Maxinee Black-Arias, RNC, MS-HRM, MSN, Dean of Nursing for Florida Career College.  Currently, Boynton Beach is the lone FCC campus with the School of Nursing. The school's ninth and newest campus, Boynton Beach spans 35,183 square feet, including 9,000 square feet of classroom and laboratory space devoted to the School of Nursing and the 5,000 square-foot Spa at The College, and this is open to the community and also provides a choice of beauty procedures.
